Characters from favourite books came to life at Carlton le Willows for the annual World Book Day.

Staff across all departments dressed up as famous figures from literature, with everyone from Willy Wonka, Dr Seuss’  Thing 1 and Thing 2 and Paddington to Sherlock Holmes and the Queen of Hearts gracing the corridors.

Students always enjoy seeing what costumes staff will be wearing for World Book Day and everyone is now eagerly waiting to see who has won Mr Tenniswood’s prize for best dressed.
