One of Carlton le Willows’ Year 8 netball teams has secured a medal in the final of the Central Venue League.

Following two weeks of fixtures, after playing seven different teams, the Academy team was one of two teams from the Gedling area to compete in the final

After a great performance in the final, which saw them play five other teams from across the region, the team finished in bronze place.

Said PE teacher Mrs Jones: “The girls played some great netball, narrowly missing out on silver medals on goal difference.”
