Sixth Form Student Council

Our Sixth Form Student Council is a dedicated team of students who work together to ensure that every student’s voice is heard and that positive changes are made within our school community. The council plays an active role in organising fun and engaging events throughout the year, such as bake sales and spirit week, while also supporting our elected charity and raising funds for our school. The money raised goes towards charities, rewards, and activities that make sixth form life more enjoyable for everyone.

The council is committed to representing the views and interests of all sixth form students. They regularly gather feedback and suggestions to help shape a more supportive, inclusive, and enjoyable environment. By communicating these ideas to the senior leadership team, they help bring about real and lasting improvements that benefit the entire student body.

Our current council includes:

President – Oversees the Student Council, ensuring all members work collaboratively towards shared goals and the smooth running of initiatives.

Vice President – Works alongside the President to support council operations, including student engagement and outreach activities.

Year 12 Liaison Officer – Acts as the main link between Year 12 students and the Council, representing their ideas, feedback, and concerns.

Welfare Officer – Focuses on promoting student wellbeing and creating a supportive, inclusive atmosphere within the sixth form.

Social and Events Officers – Plan and deliver social events and activities that bring students together and encourage school spirit.

Charities Officers – Lead fundraising efforts and community outreach projects, helping the school make a meaningful impact beyond its walls.

Sports and Competitions Officer – Organises sporting events and competitions to promote teamwork, fitness, and a sense of school pride.
