GCSE Results 2025

YEAR 11 students gathered with friends this morning (21 August) to celebrate a great set of GCSE results at Carlton le Willows.

This year’s cohort secured an ‘excellent’ set of results with 85% of students passing both English and Maths with a Grade 4 or higher and 69% achieving a strong pass of a Grade 5 or higher in those two key subjects.

Said Principal Mr Mehat: “I am absolutely delighted for our Year 11s. They have worked so hard and, with the support of parents and the Academy staff body, achieved these most excellent results.

“I am particularly pleased with our results in English and Maths. In English an amazing 46% of our students achieved a Grade 7 or above. Our students really have done themselves proud”

As always there were a number of individual successes. Lucy Allen achieved a clean sweep of Grade 9s and now looks forward to studying for A levels in Maths, History and Economics at Carlton le Willows sixth form.

Also celebrating after securing a spread of Grade 8s and 9s was Joshua Bacon and Sissea Ogulu.
